We tend to rate our gardening jobs by the treats and general signs of appreciation.

We accept hobnobs too, but homemade chocolate is undeniably better.
We normally bring our own lunch, but can always eat more.
I wish every work day could start like this – freshly made juice with kale to line our stomachs before our first very proper coffee of the day.
Mmm that day must have involved a lot of digging to deserve biscuits and more homemade chocolate.
We especially like our treats on a tray – home made hot cross bun and proper coffee of course.

One and a half pieces each. First day on the job – remember it well – we were presented with cake before we had even unloaded the tools from the van.
Don’t feel you have to compete – a simple hot cup of tea will do.
